On Saturday August 1st Upton Cricket Club lost a loyal and committed servant when after a short illness, Sunday XI Captain Jeff Woods sadly passed away aged 52.
Jeff, whose three sons play for Upton, was always a worthy opponent, great company and in every sense a true cricket man.
Everyone associated with The Ramblers would like to convey condolences to Jeff's family and friends.
His funeral is at 2.30pm on Friday August 14th at South Chapel, LandicanCemetry, Arrowe Park Road, Wirral with traditional dress code. A wake will follow from 4pm at Upton CC, Greasby Old Road, Upton, Wirral.
